Saratoga.com reached its 10 year anniversary on August 4, but those who run the site weren’t celebrating that milestone this past weekend. They were celebrating a different milestone. For the first time in its decade-long history, Saratoga.com reached over one million visits in a single month – and just days before its 10th birthday. July brought record traffic to Saratoga.com, which serves as an online guide to the Saratoga region.

If traffic to an online city guide is any indicator of the popularity of that destination, Saratoga.com’s numbers of late are reinforcing what we already know: Saratoga Springs is a popular destination. Statistics analysts at Saratoga.com had to take a second look when the numbers came in at the end of July. With the racing season barely underway, 958,000 visits to the site had been recorded, which was an astounding 45% increase over the previous month.

The Schroon Lake Area Chamber of Commerce has teamed up with internet marketing company Mannix Marketing, Inc. to offer more online exposure for their members. With this new collaboration, all Schroon Lake Chamber members now have the added member benefit of a free directory listing on Adirondack.net, a popular online resource to the entire Adirondack region.

Albany.com announced this week that Capital Region Living Magazine, the leading life and leisure publication for the Capital Region and Tech Valley, has moved their online home to Albany.com/capitalregionliving to increase their exposure in the community.
